Lesquite became ours in 1998 and was a traditionally built small farmhouse. It was and is a beautiful place to live. We have added 100’s of bulbs,
many trees and shrubs, including climbing and rambling roses, the scent on the dewy May and June mornings is complemented on the evenings by the honeysuckles,
isn’t nature wonderful?! My family help me welcome and care for our guests including the youngest two Eliza and Isabel, who sample the homemade preserves
and sausages made from our own beef, and have become very good flavour assessors!
Starting from scratch doing bed and breakfast, we felt that it was essential to have good quality mattresses. Many people have found them so comfortable that they have
gone away with the make and all details in order to purchase one for themselves.
We believe that breakfast must also be good and we try to have a good selection for those who want traditional Cornish fare, and you can enjoy our freshly laid eggs
and perhaps home grown tomatoes and potatoes, all supplied from our organic Soil Association registered farm. What ever you choose there will be a selection of cereals,
fresh fruit and home made preserves, some of which can be purchased from us, tea coffee and herbal teas are available.
Vegetarians are most welcome, and will be catered for depending on their dietary requirements.
The water is our own from the sub strata below Lesquite, and is freshly pumped on demand and filtered. Try it!
